I am Jane, a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer. I have been following a Keto/Low-carb diet since early 2019, when I was 49 years old. I have always been conscious of my diet and had always been eating good, home-cooked, fresh food. But my diet did include some carbs such as potatoes, rice, and pasta. I rarely ate bread because it made me feel bloated. Fast food was never my thing but I do love to cook and I am a feeder, I love making meals for my family.
I am reasonably active, running 6-8 classes a week as well as seeing clients privately. I also enjoy Pole-fit in my spare time. However, when I hit menopause, it felt like hitting a brick wall. I struggled with a loss of energy, generally feeling unwell, joint pain, and feeling lethargic most days. I even considered reducing my workload.
To improve my energy, I decided to try cutting carbs completely with no cheat days and started doing intermittent fasting. I was amazed at how my energy returned, my joint pain disappeared and some of my menopause symptoms reduced or disappeared altogether. I continued researching and looking for natural ways to help with the remaining menopause symptoms. The low-carb diet made a significant improvement in my health. Within just 6 months of going Keto, I was able to stop taking my blood pressure medication, which I had been on for nearly 20 years. I also found it easy to maintain a healthy weight.
Since then I have taken it further and I am Ketovoire/Carnivore now which has improved my healthy even more.
I don't like taking medication, so for 2 years, I've been taking Vitamin D and Evening Primrose oil, which helps the Vitamin D get absorbed more efficiently. This has definitely helped with the winter blues (SAD). Then in the last 6 months, I came across StemEnhance® and it has really helped me to relieve the rest of my menopausal symptoms, restored my energy levels and has made a huge difference to the condition of my hair and skin.
I am now coaching others to try and achieve the same results as I have. My passion is rehabilitation, I love helping people to become the healthiest, fittest version of themselves.
